This book changed my perception of life and happiness. I am a believer, yet this book talks to my beliefs. I attended a seminar by the author “Shawn Achor,” and I can’t stress enough how smart and persuasive he is. You do not need to be successful to be happy. It is the other way around; happiness fuels success. I would recommend it to fuel your soul and mind.
The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business
This is one of the classics that almost everybody recommends. The book describes the main features of a habit. How does it take form in our minds, simply, as the cue, the routine, and the reward. Using scientific facts and studies, the author delivers simple yet rich information on how to change your bad habits into good ones.
Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear
This book by the fabulous Elizabeth Gilbert, the same author of the other top-selling book, “Eat, Pray, Love.” In this book, she challenges our creativity and what we can or can’t do. The book is like a story that turns your creativity mode on.
